ECerS July 2017 Budapest Summer School

The Summer School on “Innovative technologies in the field of ceramic manufacturing” was organised by ECerS in Novotel Danube Budapest in Budapest, Hungary, from 7th to 8th July

There were 45 participants from 21 countries :

  • 32 from European countries : Austria (1), Belgium (1) Denmark (1) Estonia (1), Finland (2), France (10), Germany (3), Hungary (1), Ireland (1), Italy (1), Russia (1), Serbia (1), Slovenia (2), Spain (3), Sweden (1), Switzerland (1) and UK (1)
  • 13 from non European Countries : Colombia (1), India (2), Malaysia (1) and USA (9)
The JECS Trust supported this Summer School for up to 18.000 € (mainly for travel expenses of teachers). 15 grants were allowed by the American Ceramic Society for travel ($ 1,000) for ACerS student members.

A poster contest was organised and the winners were:
