Awards
During the E.Cer.S Conference, which takes place every two years in one of the countries represented in our Council, our society is honoured to confer to a very distinguished personality :
The International prize:
This award is given to a ceramist who added greatly to the advancement of contacts between the European and the international ceramic community.
The Stuijts Award:
In memory of Prof. A. Leo Stuijts (1922-1982), who contributed considerably to the development of the science and technology of magneto- and electro-ceramic materials. This award is given to a ceramist noted for outstanding contributions to ceramic science or technology.
