Topical Meeting
The Russian Ceramic Society and the Institute of Silicate Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences, organized an E.Cer.S Topical Meeting on Nanoparticles, Nanostructures and Nanocomposites.
This event took place in St.Petersburg from July 5 to July 7, 2004 chaired by V. Ya Shevchenko (Russian Ceramic Society) and co-chaired by G.N. Babini (E.Cer.S President).
The International Advisory Committee was consisting of a group of distinguished scientists:
G. Fantozzi (France), H. Gleiter (Germany), J.S. Moya (Spain), A. Müller (Germany), R.E. Newnham (USA),R. Pampuch (Poland), T. Valente (Italy), M. Yoshimura (Japan).
Scope of the Meeting was to provide a forum for researchers and engineers bringing together the scientists working on the problems of nano-science and ceramics. The scope of the meeting ranged from fundamentals to technical applications.
