Research topics :
Thin film ceramic capacitors: Sol-gel processing of ceramic thin films, compositional design, characterization of electrical properties (permittivity, capacitance, breakdown strength, leakage, conductivity, energy density).
Raman spectroscopy of ceramics: Physical-chemical analysis of ceramics (phase identification, phase fraction, phase transitions, stoichiometry), residual stress analyses, crystal orientation/texture analyses, defect identification. Ab-initio modelling of Raman spectra. Mathematical routines for data interpretation including statistical analysis.
