2024 ECerS International Ceramist Student Exchange Program - 1st call!
In the frame of the 2024 ECerS International Student exchange program, ECerS is opening a first call to allow grants to European Students to attend the 2024 IGNITE MSE and 48th ICACC conference that will be organised by the American Ceramic Society from 28th January to 2nd February 2024 in Daytona Beach, USA.

The 2023 ECerS Summer School “Advanced Characterization Techniques” took place from 29th to 30th June at the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon (INSA Lyon) in Lyon, France prior to the XVIII ECerS Conference.
Obituary Professor K. Byrappa
Prof. K. Byrappa (Byron), the former Vice-Chancellor of the Mangalore University and a well-known ceramicist, passed away after he suffered a stroke at the Bangalore airport in India. He was an Academician of the World Academy of Science and an active volunteer of the global ceramic community.

In 2017 we started the young Ceramics Additive Manufacturing Forum with our first conference at Technical University Berlin.

Please note that the decisions of the JECS Trust board will not be known before end of July 2025. Activities submitted for the deadline of 31st May 2025 for support from the JECS Trust should then not begin before August 2025.
