We are pleased to share with the ECerS community the pdf version of a new book by Prof. Suk-Joong Kang: "Problems and Solutions in Sintering Science and Technology".
Prof. Kang is one of the foremost worldwide specialists in sintering and this book, presented as a series of questions and answers concerning sintering may be useful both to students of ceramics and also to teachers looking for questions to discuss with their students.
Prof. Kang received the ECerS Richard Brook Award in 2015 and was made an Honorary Fellow of ECerS in 2017. He has kindly allowed ECerS to share his book with the community and we would like to thank him warmly for this.

2027 ECerS International Ceramist Student Exchange Program – 1st call - ICACC 2027
In the frame of the 2027 ECerS International Student exchange program, ECerS is opening a call to allow grants to European Students to attend the 51st International Conference and Expo on Advanced Ceramics and Composites (ICACC 2027) to be held from 24th to 29th January 2027 in Daytona Beach, USA, as well as the IGNITE MSE (International Gathering and Networking for Individuals to Explore Materials Science and Engineering) event that will be held on Sunday 24th January 2027.
