New ECerS officers for the 2023-2025 period

During the Council meeting that was held in Lyon, France, on 2nd July 2023, the ECerS officers were renewed or changed.

The 2023-2025 ECerS President is now Thomas Graule, from EMPA, Switzerland!
Thomas Graule succeeds to Francis Cambier, who was President of ECerS from 2021 to 2023 and is, as ECerS Past-President, the new Chair of the JECS Trust, also for the 2023-2025 period.

The 2025-2027 President of ECerS was also elected: it will be Richard Todd, from the University of Oxford, who will serve as President Elect until 2025.

New PEC Members were also appointed:

  • Jon Binner from the University of Birmingham, UK - who was ECerS President from 2019 to 2021 and Chair of the JECS Trust from 2021 to 2023.
  • Andraz Kocjan from Jožef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana, Slovenia - who was YC&T leader from 2019 to 2023.

Erkka Frankberg from Tampere University, Finland, who was a former YCN committee member, was then appointed as new YC&T leader.
