The 27th International Congress on Glass (ICG-2025) will be hosted by CSIR-Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute, Kolkata, India from 20-24 January 2025.

ICG Glass Congress is a triennial event organized in different parts of the globe under the aegis of the International Commission on Glass (ICG) for the dissemination of knowledge and to promote research cooperation and partnership with the stakeholders. The organisers expect to host more than 800 delegates comprising scientists, academicians, industry leaders, and exhibitors from the leading glass industries across the globe, including about 350 foreign delegates.

   

A Tutorial is being organized preceding the conference (January 17-18, 2025). The ICG- Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute  tutorial will cover various traits of glass science and technology, including the basics of glass and glass melts, structural aspects of glass, properties of glass, and glasses for multi-functional applications, etc., for the benefit of researchers, young faculties, and technologists in the field of glass. 

   

The aim of the conference and the tutorial is to bring together eminent international experts to deliver lectures on innovative, cutting-edge topics in the field of specialty glass, highlighting recent technological advances. Some of the leading industries in the field are expected to share their vision of futuristic technologies and applications. The conference will undoubtedly promote a thorough exchange of ideas, knowledge, and experience among participants to delineate glass technology's futuristic issues and challenges.
