Research and education on traditional and advanced ceramics

Research topics :

  • Ceramic (nano)composites for high-stress/high-T applications: processing of Alumina- ZrO2, Alumina-Y3Al5O12 (YAG) and Al2O3-ZrO2-YAG composites from  powder synthesis up to dense, nano/microstructured components, able to work in extremely harsh conditions, particularly at very high temperatures for long times.
