Nanoparticles and nanopowders for functional applications: Metal, metal oxide and semiconductor nanoparticles by wet chemistry methods, with controlled morphology, shape and surface chemistry, for optics, catalysis, gas sensor, solar management. - Functional and structural thin coatings via wet chemistry: Coatings obtained from sol-gel, electrochemically assisted sol-gel, nanocrystalline inks, chemical bath deposition for change of optical properties, improvement of mechanical properties, wettability, chemical functionalization, solar control.
