Recognition of ECerS Past-President, Jean-François Baumard
Prof. Jean-François Baumard, who was ECerS President from 1995 to 1997.
Last week, during the Annual Meeting of the GFC (Groupe Français de la Céramique - French Ceramic Society) that was held from 18th to 20th March in Orléans, France, Prof. Baumard received a zirconia medal from the hands of the ECerS General Secretary, Prof. Anne Leriche.
This zirconia medal was produced in a limited edition and is only distributed in recognition of the Past Presidents of ECerS!

In the frame of the 2026 ECerS International Student exchange program, ECerS is opening a call to allow grants to European students and post-docs to attend the Fall Meeting of the Korean Ceramic Society (COEX) in Seoul, Korea, from 30th September to 2nd October 2026.
