Materials Science/Characterization Research and Teaching Assistant - INP Toulouse, France

This position has two main components: research and teaching (equivalent to 75% full-time research + 25% teaching).

In the research component, you will support interdisciplinary teams at the INP-ENSIACET site, contributing to the CIRIMAT laboratory’s studies on material characterization (metallic, ceramic, polymeric, and composite materials). Your role will involve reinforcing microscopic and spectroscopic characterization efforts, primarily to ensure the smooth operation and technical support of the shared “Imagerie Analyse Mesure (IAM)” service (including 3D digital optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and EDS analysis), and occasionally assisting with other techniques such as ellipsometry.

In the teaching component, you will participate in projects for ENSIACET engineering students and help prepare and conduct practical lab sessions (TP), typically in physical chemistry for the IMAT 2A department (October–December).
