29-year-old Ph.D. graduate in materials engineering, with a specialization in ceramics and composites involving ceramic phases. Graduated from AGH University of Krakow with parts of Bachelor’s and Doctoral degrees done at EMPA Thun and Hokkaido University respectively. Former researcher and assistant professor at AGH University. Recently appointed assistant professor, working for research administration at the Tohoku Forum for Creativity (TFC) of Tohoku University in Sendai. As a program coordinator, works toward the promotion of science and internationalization of Tohoku University and its partners for the purpose of the new university vision.

Founder and former board member of the Student Association of Military Constructions “Adamantium” at AGH University. Formerly involved with the Board of European Students of Technology (BEST) and Polish Independent Students’ Association (NZS). Nowadays, registered member of American Chemical Society and Polish Ceramic Society. Author of seven JCR-listed publications. Regular reviewer for ACS Omega and Metallurgical and Materials Transactions A. Former organizer and participant of many events promoting research and science.

As a student, he was awarded multiple pro-quality scholarships and recognitions. Received a distinguished Ph.D. diploma for his doctoral thesis and award for best young scientists employed at AGH University in 2023.

2024 ECerS International Ceramist Student Exchange Program – 4th call!

In the frame of the 2024 ECerS International Student exchange program, ECerS is opening a 4th call, this time to allow grants to European Students to attend the 88th Annual Session of the Indian Ceramics Society and International Conference in Advanced Ceramics for Sustainability which will be organised by the Indian Ceramic Society in the campus of Indian Institute of Technology Madras (located in Chennai, India), from 28th to 30th November 2024.

ACerS is offering travelling grants of 1.500 $ to attend the two 2024 ECerS Summer Schools

The grants can be allowed to undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. students from non-European based universities. The 2024 ECerS Summer Schools will be held prior to Electroceramics XIX (Vilnius, Lithuania - School: 17-18 August 2024)  and Shaping 9 (Warsaw, Poland - School: 24-25 September 2024)!
