  • Synthesis and surface functionalization of bioactive glasses, ferrimagnetic glass- ceramics and superparamagnetic iron-oxide nanoparticles (SPIONs): bioactive glasses and bone cements with enhanced osteointegration ability, antibacterial properties and/or therapeutic functionalites; glass-ceramics and composite bone cements for the treatment of tumors in hyperthermia, SPIONs for magnetic and immunological tumor targeting, drug release and theranostics.
